Gala Dinner

The gala dinner for the conference will be held on Friday evening, October 20, at the Iberia Restaurant, located in the heart of Newark's historic Ironbound (http://www.iberiarestaurants.com/home/about/). Invitation to the gala is included in the registration fee. Additional tickets may be purchased for guests when you register.

Walking Tour

For visitors not attending the sessions, a walking tour of the city is being arranged for the morning of Friday, October 20. If you are interested in taking the tour, please e-mail Elaine Giordano at egiordano@kinoy.rutgers.edu. The group will meet at the Law School, and a specific time will be settled on when we get enough participants.

Newark Museum

A gem of an art museum, two blocks north of the law school. The Asian and Native American art collections are noteworthy. More information on the museum is here: http://www.newarkmuseum.org.

Shopping at The Mills at Jersey Gardens

An excursion to The Mills at Jersey Gardens has been arranged for Saturday. Tickets for the excursion include transportation and a book of coupons for the shops at the mall.

New Jersey Performing Arts Center

Within easy walking distance from the Law School and the Robert Treat Hotel, is the NJPAC. Tickets for performances taking place while the conference is in session are available here.

New York City

Of course, New York City is a 20 minute train ride away. From Penn Station Newark, take any N.J. Transit train Northbound to Penn Station NYC, and come out at mid-town on 34th St. NYC. Or take the PATH train to the World Trade Center.
